TAKAARA, the founder of ACTACE, majored in applied chemistry at Chuo University and started his career as a plastic injection engineer at Hayashi Telempu Corporation, an auto components manufacturer. After that, he began practicing patent drafting at a large patent law firm in Gifu Prefecture and passed the patent attorney examination. During that period, he had a chance to work at a large patent law firm in the United States and passed the U.S. patent agent examination. Established the ACTACE Patent and Trademark Firm in Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture in September of 2009, he has been involved in more than 500 patent applications as a representative, especially in the field of chemical and mechanical engineering, as well as plenty of design and trademark applications, trials and litigations.
EGUCHI, the co-founder of ACTACE, majored in biotechnology at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and Nagoya University. He began practicing patent drafting as a patent engineer at a middle-sized patent law firm in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture and then moved to a large patent law firm in Gifu Prefecture. He has been involved in hundreds of patent applications as a representative, especially in the field of system control, mechanical and bio engineering, as well as plenty of design and trademark applications, trials and litigations.
Mr. Yokoi, our affiliated partner since 2016, is an experienced patent attorney in the field of lighting apparatus, industrial machines, amusement machines and etc.

By train, our firm is a five(5) minutes walk from the Komaki station of the Meitetsu Komaki Line.
By car, turn to the east at the Yayoi-cho intersection which is about 600 m south of the Komaki Interchange, go straight about 1.8 km and turn to the north at the Komaki-Koban Kita (North of Komaki Police Station) intersection to see our firm on the left shortly. Please use a parking space located west or north of our firm.
